Frequently asked questions
Our Veteran and Recovery Care Services are tailored to meet the unique needs of two specific groups: military veterans and individuals recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or substance use. These services are designed to provide compassionate, in-home support that promotes healing, stability, and independence. Care may include assistance with activities of daily living (such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility), medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, emotional support, transportation to VA or medical appointments, and personalized recovery care planning.
We understand that veterans may have service-related health challenges—both physical and emotional—and our caregivers are trained to provide trauma-informed, respectful support in a way that honors their service. For individuals in recovery, our care plans are structured to reduce hospital readmissions, encourage healthy routines, and provide consistency during the healing process. Anyone who is a veteran or currently recovering from a medical condition, surgery, or substance-related treatment may qualify for these services. We also work with families to determine eligibility and coordinate care that fits their specific needs.
